This gallery exhibits a number of Xiang’s Western paintings featuring cowboys, ranchers, and Southwestern ranching scenes. Xiang’s loose and powerful brushstrokes capture the spirit of the individual as well as the authentic lifestyle of the American cowboy. “The brushstroke is a vehicle to carry my mood and emotions onto the canvas because painting is an art form which must contain the artist’s inspirations.” – Xiang Zhang
