Xiang's "Palo Duro Breeze" was awarded the "Sam Houston Award 2016 - Committee's Choice Award for 2-Dimensional Art" on Saturday April 2, 2016. It was an exciting night as collectors made multiple bids for "Palo Duro Drive", "On the Plain", and "Leaving San Jose Mission".

‘Traveling the West’ is one of the largest national western art shows to ever be held and will tell the story in art of how a nation traveled west to settle the great American Frontier. Wagons, horses, trains, planes, and automobiles will be highlighted in hundreds of unique pieces throughout the history of the American West.
Xiang's "Taking a Break " was awarded Best of Show and other pieces featured a new composition of a Chuckwagon, the centerpiece of the cowboy camp during cattle drives.

The 41st showing of the Prix de West invitational art exhibition opened at the National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum in Oklahoma City on June 13th. One of the top western art shows in the country, it features the foremost painters and sculptors of western, southwestern, landscape and wildlife genres from across the country.

Night of the Artists was attended by more than 700 artists, sponsors and guests throughout the weekend events that included an Artists’ Preview & Dinner on March 28, where artists and art patrons were the first to view the works. It was followed by the Art Sale and Reception on March 29, where art buyers purchased their favorite artworks. The Night of Artists weekend event kicks off a month-long exhibition, which is now open to the public through Sunday, April 27, in the Jack Guenther Pavilion at the Briscoe Western Art Museum.
UPDATE: Three Amigos was well received by collectors as well as artists, and sold at the event.

We are happy to announce that Xiang will be taking part in the 12th annual Night of Artists at the Briscoe Western Art Museum. This will be the 2nd year the Night of Artists Art Sale and Exhibition will be hosted in the beautiful Jack Guenther Pavilion at the Briscoe Museum. The Night of Artists Art Sale will be held on Saturday, March 23, 2013 starting at 5:30PM. In addition to the Art Sale, the evening will include a cocktail reception, dinner and live entertainment by House of Wills in the McNutt Sculpture Garden.
UPDATE: The movement and vivid colors of the painting captured the attention of many admirers. Let's Dance was sold at the event.

One of the country’s most prestigious annual exhibitions of representational art, the Prix de West has been hosted by the National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum in Oklahoma City since 1973. Xiang will be showing (featuring?) 3 new paintings on display for sale. The 2012 show kicks off on June 8 with a weekend full of events, including seminars, artists’ demonstrations, a live auction, and the much-anticipated sale and awards banquet. The exhibition continues through August 5.
Update: Wildfire (36" x 48") and Red River Crossing (25" x 48") were well received and sold at the 2012 Prix de West Invitational Art Exhibition and Sale.

We are pleased to announce that Xiang Zhang will be attending, by invitation, the 11th Annual Night of Artists event in San Antonio. For the very first time this event will be held at the permanent location of the Dolph and Janey Briscoe Western Art Museum on the Riverwalk in San Antonio, Texas. The Art Sale and Gala will take place on March 23, 2012. It will feature the work of over 60 invited artists whose works are regarded as the best Western American art being created today.
